Since 2013 I've built and operated a nationally recruiting experiential science education program, Sternberg Science Camps+. In doing this I've gained a keen understanding of audience targeting, social media marketing, branding, product development, personnel recruiting, operations management, and organizational leadership. My goals for YouTube are to share professional pathways and valuable skills in earth and life science spaces. "Office Hours" livestreams offer an opportunity for participants to ask questions and have them answered in real-time. "Guest Seminar" brings in a range of outside professionals to discuss their career pathway and give impactful advice on pursuing and succeeding in that career field.
Virtual World Design
Interactive virtual environments make fantastic, lively learning and working spaces perfect for bringing together communities online. Built on the metaverse platform GatherTown, these customizable virtual worlds can take nearly any shape and size. I have successfully used these virtual worlds for interactive high school and college-level education programs, experimental AI integrated virtual courses, and virtual academic conferences, all with strong positive feedback. Service options include pre-made spaces, custom-built worlds, and custom-software integrations.
